Guidelines for Fireweed In-Person Gatherings
**Effective Feb 26, 2021. Subject to be revisited at any time, with prior notice.**
Stay home if you’re sick
- Check in with your own health before hosting/going. If you are exhibiting any symptoms/not feeling well, don’t go.
- You should monitor yourself particularly for the following symptoms, as they can be common indicators of COVID-19:
- Fever
- Sore throat
- Persistent Cough
- Trouble breathing
- Muscle/body aches
- Loss of taste

Practice basic safety measures and maintain social distancing
- Outdoor gatherings only, no congregating indoors.
- Max 12 people at a time. Limit may be lower depending on the space.
- Everyone should stay masked at all times, wearing masks correctly per CDC guidelines.
- Practice social distancing, stay 6ft apart from others.
- No shared food or drink (you can bring you own, but try to keep unmasking to a minimum)
- If someone needs to go inside to use the bathroom, one person at a time with a mask on. Wipe down surfaces you touch!
For hosts:
- Provide sign-in sheet for contact tracing.
- Make sure hand sanitizer is available.
- Wipe down surfaces that people touch (tabletops, doorknobs, bathrooms, etc.)
If you want to meet up with another member:
- Be transparent with each other about your contact history and your bubble!
- Make sure you’re staying masked and outdoors the entire time
- Stay 6ft apart
